An established Masonic Lodge in the heart of Croydon.
In November 1953 the Provincial Grand Master approved the founding of the Croydon Lodge of Endeavour.
At this time the preparations for the great British expedition took place to conquer Mount Everest and this is where we took our name.
It was therefore fitting that the lodge take the name Endeavour and for the lodge emblem to contain a mountaineer.
Adopting this name it was hoped then, as it is now, that all Freemasons who join the lodge are inspired to rise to great heights in the service of Freemasonry.
